wow, that’s one dumbdumb advise. The difference between clueless, and knowledgeable. That’s not how you get 5 stars, nor tips. The worst thing to do is to ask for a tip. You wanna make money? Go work at Disneyland or Porsche for a month to teach you how to be what you’re not. A common sense human. Ask to work as an intern, unpaid. And these idiots who always have water, and delivery bags, etc. only raise the bar, so you’re not getting tips when they don’t offer you water or candy, or for deliveries they write texts and have a delivery bag. You don’t need any of that crap to get tips. You need common sense. You take someone to dinner, when you drop them off you tell them Enjoy your dinner. You take them to a bar, you say Have fun. You pick them up from the hospital, you let them talk about their life and health. And so on. Common sense, which has been lost since social media came out.

This did not work for me. Yhe only time i get batches and alot of them if im 39 miles away from a huge town. I only get one or two batches in my area.

Uber & Lyft allow these passengers to download the app to take rides. No validation process in place but if hey have these passengers upload a valid ID, it would could down on minors downloading the app. The next problem will be the parents who use their own accounts to order rides for unaccompanied minors. The minute a driver has an accident with the unaccompanied minor, the Rideshare company will deactivate the driver for violating their terms of service (TOS) and the insurance will not cover the accident. Therefore leaving the driver to pay all expenses including medical bills, etc. etc.

omg hahah, this was extremely embarrassing for me, cuz I currently work as an Uber support (I used to be working in uber driver support, and now I'm working in a different uber support team which is higher and is not for drivers, I don't wanna say the name for privacy). Bro let me tell you something. you did contact to the uber rider support team. most of us are from south America (I'm from south America, Colombia) and Philippines (I talked to the Philippines in escalations and believe me or not I had discussions with them through the phone call while I'm keeping the driver in hold because they are so unsmarted, dissmarted "ha-ha just kidding with un/dis in the word "smart", not willing to help I mean). Therefore, we gonna have issues understanding your concern due to the language barriers, if you contact us through phone call which is only for uber drivers. The rider team which is "email only" or "messages" they only follow procedures about what to do so. that's why you are receiving like automated messages. (and also the email or messages team are in the same place as well, south america and phillipines) in regard to those messages that you did receive from them related to an issue with taxes and all those things it was because the agents working in the RRSS department at Uber they escalated the issue closely associated with the "keywords" you were using in your messages to us the customer service therefore we received their requests and then we tried to answer the messages according to the the information they gave us. I know they don't need to do that cuz has no sense if you will receive a message with non-sense. So please delete the video because you are blaming the company, hahahaha KIDDING I'm just kidding hahah. If you were would be able... sorry I had no idea how to say the following sentence in english so I figure it out in the translator which is...: If you had been able to contact me by phone. even if I had no idea, I would be able to acknowledge your concern exactly as you please and I would tried to escalate this issue with somebody in the engineering department in United States. Thank you for mentioning the texting aspect. I ALWAYS notify the customer if the trip is going to be multiple pickups and drop offs because when I was a customer for years and I would watch the drivers going every direction except my home and I didn't figure out that they were picking up other orders until I saw the app from the other side. If you simply explain to the customer that you have multiple stops to make or that their order is being delayed, they will see your effort. Take a page out of the corporate email bible and ALWAYS end your messages with "Thank you!" - emails that end in "thank you" are 50% more likely to get a response. If a customer hands you a tiny cash tip at the drop do NOT look disappointed. Say Thank you emphatically and show them that it means something to you (even if the amount is insulting) I have had cash tippers ADD ON additional tip in the app after the drop off just because I was grateful and made it seem like they were really helping me out. You gotta stroke their egos a little and make them feel like they are a good person because when they get that little hit of dopamine they will want to show you how great a person they are 😂 it's all psychology. If they have a funny statue or decoration in their yard or on their door tell them how cool it is. 😎 you gotta engratiate yourself with them every way you can.

Why do people rent from Turo verses a a car rental company ? I never heard of Turo until I seen a video last week .

I just bought a Pacifica after my Lexus ES got rear ended. Love it. Been using it for UberXL but have been strongly considering posting it and my BMW X3 on Turo. Ive watched a ton of videos and yours has been super informative. My story is ,I invited a new friend to drive for Uber under the referral promotion. He did uber eats first then he did uber rides he completed both uber Eats 75 deliveries and rides of 100 rides. I only $75 for the Uber Eats and did not receive $540 for the 100 rides in the referral promotion. They claim that they can only do one. They are ripping drivers referral off. They should be sued. As far as communication, this is farmed out over seas and don't have any American English understanding. No language understanding or comprehending. understanding
